MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (a) Worked on overall accounting activities of Public Funded Project named Skills and Training Enhancement Program (STEP) financed by WORLD BANK supervised and monitored by BANGLADESH TECHNICAL EDUCATION MINISTRY, Agargaon, Dhaka. Role Played: • Preparation of Public Funded project proposal (and revise as per demand). • Preparation of procurement plan (PPR-15) as per project proposal. • Preparation of Project P/L monthly basis in prescribed form provided by BANGLADESH TECHNICAL EDUCATION MINISTRY. • Arrangement of project procurement activities (Under Public procurement rules 2008) such as seminar and symposium, industry visit, maintain liaison with different industries. • Co-ordinate Govt. and external auditors by providing precise project information. (b) Preparation of Institutional financial statements for periodic and semi-annual basis (As per demand). (c) Establish controlling and monitoring accounting policies & procedures maintained by the Institute.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • To guide the concerned Finance and Accounts team in financial planning, managing and controlling all financial related activities of MPL. • Lead and manage the finance associates to ensure regular accounting works. • Monitoring & Maintain banking relationship and prepare periodic financial reports. • Finalise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly & statutory accounts. • Support the management in arriving and ensuring at profitability analysis, product pricing, project costing, budgeting, MIS etc. • Track and ensure recovery all accounts payable within and outside the organization. • Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs. • Audit and prepare financial statements and product costing. • To perform any other task as assigned by the management or superior.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Closely liaise with and aid the MD and other Directors to execute financial decisions across the Company. • Studies, analyzes and reports on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future growth. • Analyze and present financial and management reports in an accurate and timely manner. • Track the current financial progress against their forecasts to make sure that the company is on track. • Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the MD of the Company. • Carry on with the process of automation/computerization of all accounting, costing and management information services. • Arranging periodical meetings of unit accounts to ensure that all accounting information as asked for is processed to TALLY software on timely and accurately. • Visit of the units as frequently as possible for moral boost up of the unit staff, general supervision and for imparting ideas.
