Work & Experience
Banking and Accounts Payable Management: • Manage and Execute Acceptance, payment process for Import L/Cs to in-house raw material in time and reduce import cost. • Lead and supervise accounts payable team in processing supplier payments via Telegraphic Transfer (TT), Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), and Cheque to smooth business operation. • Prepare LATR (Loan Against Trust Receipt), CIL (Continuous Import Loan), UPAS, fund transfer and other loan request letters. Treasury, Budgeting & Control: • Prepare Liabilities position, bank balance, funded and non-funded bank facility limit. • Prepare monthly fund management reports to monitor cash flow and liquidity. • Export bill discounting and Fund transfer for working capital requirements in line with approved sanctions. • Assist GM, CFO, and Director of Finance in treasury management, budgeting, and financial control. Team Leadership and Development: • Leading a team, delegate tasks effectively, ensuring the team meets all deadlines and performs, process improvement. • Supervise fixed asset register maintenance, foreign exchange gain/loss calculation, and issuance of debit notes/memo. • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled within the SAP FICO system. Reconciliation and Verification: • Conduct reconciliation of bank accounts, intercompany, trade payables, and general ledger. • Verification of voucher, journal posting according to compliance and support accurate financial reporting. • Ensure accurate checking of LC maturity dates, loan repayment schedules, bank charges, and interest. Financial Reporting and Analysis: • Prepare and analyze financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually. • Review and verify postings for month-end and year-end closing to ensure accurate financial reporting. Cross-Department Coordination: • Collaborate with commercial team for import operation and providing advance payment list. • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to streamline payment methods and financial cost savings. External Audit Support and Ad Hoc responsibilities: • Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits. • Manage additional tasks as assigned by management to support business objectives. • Concept of Inco Terms, UCP600, and Calculation of Landed Cost.
